As a golfer, you're definite to be ill with one sickness: Eremikophobia, the fright of sand.
Certainly, sand is any golfer's worry. Sand represents a hazard that golfers would want to avoid at any cost: bunkers. When a ball hits the bunker, the golfer will have to compete with difficulties in whacking the ball and managing its course and path. Worse, the golfer has to whack the ball without whacking the sand, least he suffer a one stroke fine.
Hence, one of the simple things that any golfer must know by heart is what to execute when the ball touches the bunker.
The number one advice, of course is this: prevent the sand. Golf balls don't have any business being in bunkers, after all.
But alas, such is rather improbable. Even the finest professional golfers of today encounter hazard every now and then. It's a component of the game. At times, your turn will be a little sour. At times, your computation may be wrong. And sometimes, the wind may go against you. Golf balls touching the bunker at some period will be rather inevitable.

- Maintain your knees bent. This is a dangerous move. The sand will enfold the golf ball. If your knees aren't bent, your swing will be levelled and you may not be able to hit any golf balls back to the green.
- Don't stop thinking about your follow through. Just considering about it will make you get ready for easy, polished attempt with sufficient power to position the golf ball to safety. Your follow through is vital in ascertaining your pulse and conjuring your stroke.
