A better golf swing is inevitable for any golfer, with the correct approach. It does not matter age or talent. Its a reality and can occur very rapidly!
To attain a better golf swing, a golfer must become aware of just how physically tough it is on the human body. You are swing an object (golf club) at up to 100 mph. This puts a great amount of strain on the joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles.
If these tissues of the body are fragile, tight or brittle they will rip apart and stop you from playing golf for ever. If it does not, your performance will pay the price. The effect either way is not what you desire but will take place without giving importance to strengthening these areas.
Along with strengthening comes stretching. Stretching muscles to achieve a better golf swing is usual among the majority of golfers. Although it is usual, most golfers do not strain too much. Why? Because it is considered as work. But if it is considered as a method of golf improvement it would be another story.
Swing mechanics cannot be enhanced if your golf specific power and flexibility are overlooked. It is a hopeless situation, until you compensate for this deficit of skills in your golf swing. Teaching pros are now beginning to understand that there is a explicit link between golf swing mechanics and fitness.
But that is where the BIG gap is. Between instruction and physical fitness. This is the critical blend for complete golf performance and I have been advocating it for a number of years. When your physical capacities are bettered, your golf swing mechanics become much simpler to accomplish.
The next time you call on your teaching pro, to attain a better golf swing, you will be capable of doing what he/she wants and the much awaited end result will be reached. This result is expected when you get your body moving better. Your golf swing mechanics fall into place.
It will only be a matter of time when all golfers will approach their golf improvement by this means. Its the only means that will guarantee permanent outcomes and eventually a better golf swing.
