Everyone loves Happy Gilmore and his impossible hits. We have all dreamed of somehow being able to make that classic first tee long shot. While this is a near impossible task, we can all dream can't we?
A real person, Tiger Woods, is actually known for his good, long golf drives. To make these great shots Tiger Woods has to rely on his shoulders and hips. When he has complete control over them he is able to make those types of impossible hits.
When you are making long golf drives it is important to do it in the proper order. Remember to always stretch and warm up before any game. This will keep you from getting hurt during the game. Loosen up your body so you can be working at your best.
It is also important to prepare yourself emotionally for the game. Do some mental exercises as well to keep your mind clear. Having a meditation routine can help you stay more focused and relaxed.
And, of course, it is important to practice. Use your swing trainer to get better with your golf stance. Your swing trainer will help your golf swing improve so you are able to get those hits you are hoping for.
Practice long drive shots with your swing trainer. You want to make sure you are doing it correctly. Be sure that your full shoulder is turning while you are hitting the long drive types of shots. You want to give it the right amount of power and have the proper amount of weight transferred.
To see if you are doing it the right way put a golf ball under your back arm pit. If you swing the club and the ball falls out you aren't doing it the right way. You need to turn your shoulders and keep the ball in your arm pit through out the back swing.
This simple tip will allow you to stop from separating your arms during the back swing. There are many other tips for having a successful long golf drive. The most important one is to practice.
