The Entertainment Value of The Golf Game

Due to the great deal of stress that most people are exposed to every single day, it is important to unwind and avail of entertainment from time to time. One way to gain entertainment pleasure is through sports, particularly the game of golf. This is one of those laid back forms of sports that can be surprisingly entertaining.
Some people get plenty of entertainment when they simply play the game of golf. But it can be made so much more fun when you put twists on regular games. You can modify the way you play and get a lot more enjoyment from the game.
One of the most exciting twists to a regular game of golf is dubbed as "monkey golf". In this particular variation of the game, you need to prepare slips of paper and write down names of different clubs on that piece of paper, and then place them in a reversed hat. This will serve as the container wherein players must attempt to pick out a piece of paper and whatever club is written on the chosen paper, they have to stuck using that club for an entire round of play. There is indeed a lot of challenge element into this variation that will test the player's adaptability to various type of clubs.
Aside from that, playing night golf game can also be another entertaining way to approach this sport. Since most golf courses are not lighted, you can opt to use glow golf balls that are visible in the dark. Also, you must assign grease spots on the course so you'll know where you are aiming for. Trying to stay within course and properly navigate the ball even in dark conditions add up to the excitement level when playing golf for entertainment.
Wolf is another exciting twist to the sport, which is probably one of the most hilarious variations ever invented. You will start off by picking players to join your team basing only on how they hit the ball. This setup provides lots of variation to the team composition and excitement often comes from the player's attempt to put and gain score. Other players in your team must not touch the ball, but they can do whatever they want to though. It leaves the field wide open and offers more playing opportunities. They can add more physical obstacles into the course, thus making it more impossible to score - all for the sake of good, clean fun!
Finally, friendly side bets could also be going on while a match is ongoing. This is a great way to make the audience feel more involved instead of being passive viewers to the game. But instead of money, you will use dares as bets instead. If you are creative enough, this is a great way to play golf for entertainment.
Finding entertainment on the golf course is actually quite easy when you think outside of the proverbial box. Just remember that the whole point of a friendly game is to have fun. So go out and do it!
